Counselling Fees

At RenHaven Therapy, each clinician operates their own independent practice, so fees may vary depending on the therapist and type of session.

Session Rates

  • Standard Individual sessions: $145-$165 (50 mins)

  • Couples & family sessions: higher rates due to extended time and care

Fees include any additional time spent supporting you, such as research, ongoing training and supervision that therapists are committed in enhance their skills.

Fees are based on the recommended rates set out by the BCACC fee guide 2026.

Reduced-Fee Options

  • Pre-licensed therapists: Completed their education and training, currently awaiting registration.

  • Intern therapists: $60 per session

    • Master’s-level students under clinical supervision

    • Not eligible for extended health reimbursement

Additional Information

  • Longer sessions are available and can be arranged with your therapist

  • If cost feels like a barrier, we welcome you to reach out - we’ll do our best to find a supportive option for you

insurance & programs

Our therapists are registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and/or Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) with credentials of RCC and CCC. Please check with your benefits coverage to assist with the cost of services.

cancellation policy

Please remember that your session is reserved especially for you. We kindly request at least 48 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment.

A fee of $50 will be charged to your account for cancellations made inside the 48 hour to 24 hour mark before your session.

If you cancel within 24 hour (or less) of your appointment then the full session price will be required. If you are unable to attend in person due to illness, please let us know and we will be happy to shift your session to virtual (secure video or phone).
